RemitBridge is a Product Management capstone concept focused on improving transparency, tracking and communication in diaspora remittances to Nigeria. The goal is a clearer transfer journey — not a replacement for regulated financial providers.
The problem
Nigerians abroad who send money home often face unclear costs, uncertain exchange-rate margins and no reliable way to know whether a transfer is still processing or already received. Recipients wait without information and keep asking the sender for updates.
How might we
How might we make cross-border money transfers to Nigeria clearer, easier to track and more reassuring for both senders and recipients?
Value proposition
RemitBridge helps Nigerians living abroad send money to their families with clear transfer information, transparent cost visibility, easy tracking and timely notifications.
MVP scope
Account creation and login, saved recipients, a send-money flow with a full transfer preview, transfer tracking through Processing → Sent → Received, transaction history, notifications and a profile page. Anything outside that core loop was deliberately left out.
Prototype limits
This is a functional prototype, not a financial service. Exchange rates and fees are illustrative, transfer stages are simulated on a short timer, and all data lives locally in your browser so it survives a refresh.
